South Coast Dental was founded on a simple principle: Patients shouldn’t have to choose between advanced surgical expertise and a gentle, compassionate touch. We noticed that many patients were delaying critical treatments due to fear or a lack of access to modern sedation options. We built our practice to bridge that gap.
Located conveniently on the South Coast, we have grown into a comprehensive dental hub capable of handling everything from routine cleanings to complex oral-maxillofacial surgeries. Dr Beehler, owner of South Coast Dental, has made continuing education a passion and has spent thousands of hours over the years on continuing education across Canada and the United States, in particular The Pankey Institute; The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Cosmetic Dental Studies and The Perio Institute. He is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists having studied at Misch Implant Institute as well as Temple University.
He is proud to have studied under world class speakers; Dr.Witzig (Dentistry Today named him the Leader in Orthodontic Continuing education in the United States and Canada the past five years in succession, The American Association of Functional Orthodontics named him Clinician of the Year in 1984 & 2001 and Father of Modern Day Functional Orthodontic Treatment in 2001). He is a Preferred Provider of INVISALIGN clear aligner technology and Six Month Braces. Dr. Beehler’s surgical training, allows him to expose impacted cuspids and free fused molars or any tooth via a segmental osteotomy.
Dr. Fiona Cameron brings to the practice years of experience and quality service to her patients.
She graduated with B.D.S. Hons. from New Castle, Upon -Tyne, England. Interned for 18 months in prosthodontics, periodontics and oral surgery. After 3 years of general practice in the U.K. she travelled to Barbados in the early 80’s fell in love with island, raised a family and has been living here since. After 20 years, she has given up ownership of the practice but still continues to enjoy practicing dentistry within the clinic.
Dr. Cameron has held post at the Barbados Dental Council and has been Secretary, Vice President and President of the Barbados Dental Association. She continues to upgrade her education via multiple post graduate courses in all facets of dentistry.
Mrs. Beehler graduated from the Canadian National Institute of Health in Ottawa Ontario, where she received her diploma with Honours in 2010. She also has an extensive background with Accounting and Business Administration.
She enjoys educating patients on their Oral hygiene and connecting with their overall systemic health. She is a perfectionist, so she really gives a thorough treatment and prides herself on her profession.
Mrs. Beehler enjoys kids but also the more difficult Periodontally challenged patient’s, this involves deep cleanings and working along with them to achieve their goals.
She is very private but we know she enjoys The Fete.
Hi, I’m Vicky. I received my certificate in Dental Hygiene at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington D.C. in 1975. I have also trained in extended duties and qualified as a Restorative Hygienists.
I love my job as a Hygienist. It is a very rewarding and fulfilling profession. I enjoy interacting with my patients.
My hobbies are singing, swimming and reading good spiritual and inspirational books.
Jennifer obtained her diploma Medical/Dental Office Assisting at the Barton Correspondence School and a Diploma in IntraOral X-Ray technique at Georgetown University School of Dentistry. I have been working in dentistry for over forty years.
I am married with one grown up son. I love to cook, read, watch movies and take long walks. I love my job and the good feeling of when patients leave happy.
I have been a Dental Assistant for many years and have been working at South Coast Dental from the beginning. I have obtained my Dental Assisting Diploma from Distance Education in 2001. My job is very enjoyable as each patient is very different. I always remember my regular patients by name. My hobbies are reading and sleeping LOL!
I am a down to earth Island girl who can’t swim to save my life!! I have many years experience within the dental field. My caring personality makes the most nervous patient feel at ease. I enjoy spending time with my family and I enjoy reading and singing.
